BCCI Announces India tour of New Zealand Schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday (03 June) has announced the schedule of the Test, ODI and T20 series to be held on the New Zealand tour. The series of all three formats will be played within 3 months. The series will start from October 22 with T20 matches. 5 matches will be played in the T20 series. After this there will be 5 ODIs and then 2 Tests. On the tour, Team India will play a total of 12 matches including all three formats.
The series starting from October will be played till December as per the schedule. If the last Test lasts for full 5 days, then the tour will end in December. The last match of the two-match Test series will be played between 27 November and 01 December.
Timing of series of all three formats
The matches of the first T20 series will start at 1:30 pm Indian time (IST). The matches of the T20 series will be held in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton.
ODI matches will start at 8:30 am Indian time (IST). The matches of this series will be held in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton and Mount Maunganui.
The matches of the Test series will start at 4:30 am as per Indian time (IST). Indian fans will have to sacrifice their sleep to watch the Test series. Both the matches of the Red Ball Series will be held in Wellington and Christchurch respectively.
