Vaibhav Suryavanshi won many awards
Vaibhav became the highest run-scorer in the IPL season, for which he received the Orange Cap award. Vaibhav had scored 776 runs in 16 innings of 16 matches at an average of 48.50 and strike rate of 237.31. During this period, he scored 1 century and 5 half-centuries.
Vaibhav had hit 72 sixes in the season. He was also the batsman who hit the most sixes, for which he was given the ‘Super Sixer’ award. Vaibhav became the batsman who hit the most sixes in a season. He hit 72 sixes, with which he broke Chris Gayle’s record. Gayle hit 59 sixes in 2012.
Apart from this, Vaibhav also received the Super Striker Award. For this he was given a Tata Sierra car as a reward. Vaibhav also received awards like Emerging Player of the Season and Most Valuable Player of the Season.
