ICC ODI Rankings Latest Update: The International Cricket Council released the latest rankings on Wednesday (03 June). A huge leap of Pakistani players was seen in the rankings. At the same time, no Indian player appeared in the top-5. Pak spinner Abrar Ahmed jumped 7 places in the ODI rankings and occupied the fourth position. This is Abrar’s career best ODI ranking. His rating is 633.
Apart from this, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has also taken a big leap. Shaheen has moved up 4 places. Now he has reached number 13. Shaheen’s rating is 593.
No Indian bowler in top-5
There is no Indian bowler present in the top-5. Kuldeep Yadav of Team India is at sixth position with 624 rating. If we look at the top-5, two bowlers from England, one from Afghanistan, one from Pakistan and one from South Africa are included.
Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan has retained himself at the first position with 705 rating. England’s fast bowler Joffra Archer is at second place in the list. Archer’s rating is 649. South African spinner Keshav Maharaj is at third position, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is at fourth position and English spinner Adil Rashid is at fifth position. Keshav’s rating is 645 and Adil’s is 629.
Indians dominate in ODI batting rankings
Three Indian players are seen in the top-5 batting rankings of ODI. In this, Virat Kohli is at second position with 791 rating, Rohit Sharma is at fourth position with 748 rating and Shubman Gill is at fifth position with 716 rating. New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner is at the first position in the list with 815 ratings. Ibrahim Zadran of Afghanistan is at third place with 756 rating.
Indian players also missing from all-rounder ranking
If we look at the all-rounder rankings, only one Indian player is seen in the top-10. The only Indian player is Akshar Patel, who is at 10th position. Akshar’s rating is 201. In this list, Afghanistan’s pace bowling all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai is at first place with 329 rating.
