Saqib Hussain comes from Gopalganj, Bihar, who was first bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. KKR bought him for Rs 20 lakh in 2024, but never played him in the match. After being released from Kolkata, Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for Rs 30 lakh for the ongoing edition (IPL 2026), for which he took 4 wickets in the very first match.
