After the failure of ceasefire talks on Iran war, US President Donald Trump has made a big announcement. He said that with immediate effect, the world’s best navy, the US Navy, will begin the process of imposing a blockade of any and all ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump’s full statement
Trump wrote on Truth Social, So, the thing is that the meeting went well, agreement was reached on most things, but the one thing which was of most importance, i.e. ‘Nuclear’, was not agreed upon. With immediate effect, the United States Navy, the world’s finest navy, will begin the process of ‘blocking’ any ship attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. At some point, we will reach the basis of “everyone is allowed in, and everyone is allowed out,” but Iran will not let that happen; He simply refused, saying, “There might be a mine laid somewhere there,” about which no one but him would know. This is EXTORTION being done to the entire world, and the leaders of the countries, especially the leaders of the United States of America, will never bow down to such coercion.
‘Will be destroyed’
He further wrote, I have also instructed my Navy to search and stop every ship present in international waters which has paid any ‘toll’ (fee) to Iran. Whoever pays such illegal toll will not get safe passage on the high seas. We will also begin destroying the mines that the Iranians have laid in the strait. Any Iranian who shoots at us, or any peaceful ship, will be completely ‘BLOWN TO HELL’!
‘We will completely destroy Iran’
Iran, more than any other country, knows better how to end this situation, Trump wrote. A situation that has already devastated their country. Their navy is destroyed, their air force is destroyed, their anti-aircraft and radar are useless; Khamenei and most of his “leaders” have been killed, and it’s all because of his ‘nuclear ambitions’. This ‘blockade’ will start soon. Other countries will also join this blockade. Iran will not be allowed to derive any benefit from this act of ‘illegal extortion’. They want money and more importantly they want ‘nuclear power’. Furthermore and at an opportune time we are completely “LOCKED AND LOADED”; Our army will completely destroy whatever little part of Iran is left!
‘They are violating every law’
Trump said, Iran had promised to open the Strait of Hormuz, and they deliberately did not do so. This caused anxiety, chaos and suffering among many people and countries around the world. They say they have laid mines in the water, although their entire navy, and most of their “mine laying ships,” have been completely blown up. They may have done so, but what shipowner would want to take such a risk? This has caused great disrepute and permanent damage to Iran’s reputation, and whatever is left of their “leaders”; But now we have moved beyond all these things. As they promised, it would be better if they start the process of opening this international waterway as soon as possible! They are violating every law. I know Vice President J.D. Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner gave a detailed account of the meeting in Islamabad; This meeting was held under the gentle and extremely capable leadership of Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He is a very extraordinary man, and he constantly expresses his gratitude to me for saving the lives of 3 to 5 crore people in a terrible war with India. I always love hearing this, the humanity that is spoken about is unimaginable.
‘Iran will never have any nuclear weapons’
The meeting with Iran began early in the morning, he wrote, and continued throughout the night, for approximately 20 hours. I could go on in great detail, and mention all the things that have been achieved; But only one thing matters most — Iran is unwilling to give up its nuclear ambitions! In many ways, the points agreed are better than continuing our military operations to the end; But all those points mean nothing when it comes to putting nuclear power in the hands of such unstable, difficult and unpredictable people. My three representatives — as expected — throughout this period maintained a very friendly and respectful attitude towards the representatives of Iran, Mohammad-Baqir Ghalibaf, Abbas Araqchi and Ali Baqeri; But this does not matter, because he was not ready to budge at all on the most important issue. And as I have always said, from the beginning, and even many years ago, Iran will never have any nuclear weapons!
