Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered a big blow during IPL 2026. The team’s young star batsman Ayush Mhatre has been out of the entire season. The franchise officially announced Mhatre’s exit. Chennai is already going through a bad phase. The team has won only 2 out of 6 matches. The team has faced defeat in 4 matches.
The franchise issued an official statement regarding Mhatre on social media, writing, “Ayush Mhatre has been ruled out of the remaining matches of IPL 2026 due to a left hamstring injury sustained while batting during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 18. Ayush’s injury will require 6 to 8 weeks of rehab.”
