Venezuela Earthquake: The Indian Army on July 1 (Wednesday) successfully rescued a 79-year-old woman trapped under debris in the earthquake-hit area of Venezuela, part of the ongoing humanitarian operation under Operation Amistad. The Indian Army pulled out the woman in time and immediately took her to the field hospital, due to which her life could be saved.
According to foreign media, the woman had a fracture in her leg, as well as peripheral artery disease, and delay in treatment due to being trapped under the debris could have cost her life, as severe artery ulcers and severe pain increased. During this time, the Indian Army immediately took care of him and treated the fractures, while the wounds were also taken care of, which gave him hope for a quick recovery.

The earthquake has caused great damage to Venezuela. According to researchers, about 58,870 buildings were damaged or completely destroyed in central and northern Venezuela. According to CNN report, the death toll has now reached 1,719. A total of 22,619 people have been affected, including 5,034 injured. Of the 855 buildings, 189 completely collapsed. At the same time, after the earthquake of June 24, 609 aftershocks have been recorded so far.
