Mojtaba Khamenei on US-Iran Deal: US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian formally signed the MoU to end the months-long war between the US and Iran. Now the first reaction of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on this deal has come to light.
Mojtaba Khamenei said that he had doubts and some objections regarding this deal, yet he approved it. He said that he reached the decision only after assurances from President Pezeshkian and senior security officials that Iran’s interests would be fully protected in this deal.
‘Trump made every kind of maneuver so that…’
He further said that US President Donald Trump desperately used all kinds of pressure and means (maneuvers) to bring this MoU into existence. He said that his stand regarding this MoU was different. However, due to the commitment of the Iranian President and other members of the Supreme National Security Council, he gave his approval for it.
‘Dialogue does not mean accepting the enemy’s side’
During this, he also clearly said that if the American side makes excessive demands, then they will not accept them. He once again said that it is clear that future face-to-face talks will not mean accepting the enemy’s side.

According to American and Iranian officials, after the signing of the MoU by the Presidents of both the countries, the agreement has come into effect with immediate effect. According to US officials, President Trump also officially signed the hard copy of the US-Iran agreement during a dinner with French President Macron at the Palace of Versailles in France. A copy of this agreement has been sent to Iran and the mediating countries (Pakistan, Qatar).
Conflict between US and America ends after signing of MoU
Earlier on Sunday, US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf had signed the MoU electronically. American officials say that after the signing of the MoU, the conflict that had been going on for almost four months between the two countries came to a complete end.
