The conflict that has been going on between America and Iran for the last one month has stopped for the time being with some conditions. US President Donald Trump announced a temporary ceasefire and said that in the coming times, this could prove to be the ‘Golden Age’ of the Middle East. Trump also said that all America’s military goals have been accomplished and now Iran is ready to open the Strait of Hormuz. Today is a big day for world peace.
A few hours after the announcement of ceasefire, Trump said many things about Iran in a recent post on his social media platform Truth. He said, “A huge day for world peace! Iran wants the same thing, now they’ve run out of patience! And so does everyone else!”
We will be present in Hormuz to help-Trump
Regarding Hormuz, Trump said, “The United States of America will help in smoothening the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz. There will be a lot of positive work there! A lot of money will also be earned from it. Iran can now start its reconstruction work. We will be there for all kinds of important things.”
Middle East will prove to be ‘Golden Age’ – Trump
Trump also said after the ceasefire announcement, “We will be around Iran to make sure everything is going well. I have every confidence that that will happen. Just like we are experiencing in the US, this could prove to be the ‘Golden Age’ of the Middle East!”
Earlier, while announcing the ceasefire, US President Donald Trump wrote in Truth Post, “Based on my conversations with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, in which they requested that I stop the destructive force being sent to Iran tonight and if the Islamic Republic of Iran agrees to fully, immediately and safely open the Strait of Hormuz, then I agree to stop bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks. “It will be a two-way ceasefire.”
It is noteworthy that Trump made this announcement a few hours before the end of the deadline set by him. Trump had given Iran time till 8 am on Tuesday (Eastern Time) for ceasefire.
