US-Israel-Iran war: Amidst the ongoing war with America and Israel, Iran’s Foreign Minister Saeed Abbas Araghchi has attacked America by mentioning India. He said that America is now begging the entire world including India to buy Russian crude oil. Whereas earlier he was pressurizing India not to buy oil from Russia.
The Iranian Foreign Minister has made this statement on America’s decision in which America has removed the sanctions imposed on Russian oil. The US Finance Department decided to give 30 days approval to buy Russian oil.
On this, Iran’s Foreign Minister Saeed Abbas Araghchi shared a post on an X and shared a paper cutting. In the post, he wrote, “The US has been pressurizing India for months to stop importing oil from Russia. After a two-week war with Iran, now the White House is pleading with the entire world, including India, to buy crude from Russia.”
He further said that Europe thought that by supporting America in this illegal war against Iran, it would get America’s support against Russia. What a pitiful thing.
Why did America lift the ban?
In fact, amid the fierce war, Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20 percent of the world’s crude oil passes. This has led to a rise in oil prices. The price of crude oil in the international market has crossed $ 100 per barrel. In view of this, to control the rising prices, America has lifted the sanctions imposed on Russian oil for 30 days, so that the global supply can continue.
US Finance Minister Scott Besant said that this approval would be only for Russian oil that is already present in the sea. A few days ago, America had given similar exemption to India also.
