Trump comes out the door and takes two packets of McDonald’s from the delivery agent. Then the reports look at the camera and say – ‘This doesn’t look artificial, does it?’
Simmons further tells Trump how much she has benefited from the ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy. When a reporter asked Sharon Simmons if she got a good tip from the White House, Trump immediately took out a $100 bill, which made Simmons look very happy and started thanking him.

Trump said that when he learned that Simmons had received $11,000 more under a tax rule, he arranged for the delivery. Describing it as a wonderful tax cut bill, he said – ‘I heard you got $11,000 more because the tax bill was so big’.
During the conversation, President Trump also targeted the Democrats and criticized their policies. He said that he cannot win the elections on the basis of his policies.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt also posted this on her X handle. She wrote how Sharon is using the $11,000 tip she received last year to support her family, due to President Trump signing legislation that would not tax tips. He emphasized how this policy has benefited millions of Americans.
He wrote: “No tax on tips! Sharon is one of the millions of American workers who are getting to see real money in their pockets this tax refund season under President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cut plan. Remember: Every Democrat voted against this historic legislation!”
