The losing streak of Lucknow Super Giants is not stopping, the team lost its fourth consecutive match on Wednesday. In this match played in Ekana, Rajasthan Royals, batting first, scored 159 runs. Chasing the target, the entire LSG team was out for 119 runs. Rishabh Pant’s irresponsible attitude was seen while batting. He came on the field after the run out of Ayush Badoni, and started trying to hit a big shot from the very first ball and was out on the third ball.
In the initial overs, the ball was moving in the air, and that is why Pant could not hit a big shot on the first two balls. But even after this, he tried to hit the same big shot on the third ball and swung the bat hard, but the ball took the edge of the bat and went straight into the hands of the wicketkeeper and Pant was out on zero. After the match, Pant was asked, ‘Where do you think LSG lost the match?’ So Pant had no answer to this.
What did Pant say after the defeat?
Where did Lucknow Super Giants lag behind? Where did you lose the match? In response, Pant said, “I have no answer to this. Our batting disappointed us. As a group, as a team, we are disappointed. We have to find the answer to the defeat within ourselves, not outside. We could have taken time while batting, there is no excuse for that. With me included, we could have taken the match further. As a batting group, we have to take our responsibility.”

While chasing the target, opener Mitchell Marsh played a good inning of 55 runs in 41 balls, but no one could support him in the initial overs. Ayush Badoni was run out due to lack of coordination, after which Pant continued on his third ball. Aiden Markram, who came at number four, was out on his sixth ball. Badoni, Pant and Markram could not even open the account.
