Ravindra Jadeja saved his shame
At one time Rajasthan Royals had lost three wickets at the score of 32. Within no time, by the time they reached 77 runs, half of the Rajasthan team had returned. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored only 8 runs, Yashasvi Jaiswal got the start, but he too was out after scoring 22 runs in 12 balls. Dhruv Jurel could not even open the account and captain Riyan Parag contributed 20 runs.
When Ravindra Jadeja came to bat, Rajasthan Royals had lost 4 wickets at the score of 62 in 9 overs. From here Jadeja took over the innings. Jadeja kept himself in check till the 19th over, because by the end of the 19th over, he was playing after scoring 23 runs in 23 balls. In the last over, he scored a total of 20 runs targeting Mayank Yadav. Jadeja returned unbeaten after scoring 43 runs in 29 balls. Will 159 runs be defended?
The pitch at Ekana Stadium has been of slow nature throughout the IPL 2026 tournament. Today Rajasthan has to defend 159 runs, which is completely possible on this ground. Here 126 runs have also been defended, a feat which RCB had achieved against Lucknow Super Giants in 2023. In the 2023 season itself, Gujarat Titans had won on this ground by scoring 135 runs.
