PM Modi And Giorgia Meloni: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni gave a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his arrival in Rome on Tuesday. PM Modi has reached Rome on the last stop of his official tour of five countries. Meanwhile, many important issues were discussed between the two.

During the joint press conference on Wednesday during PM Modi’s visit to Italy, both the heads of state expressed their views on various issues ranging from increase in bilateral trade. Meanwhile, after PM Modi, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni surprised everyone by speaking Hindi during the joint press conference.

‘Hard work is the key to success’-Georgia Meloni

During the joint press conference, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said, ‘Your visit is an honor for us. This opens a new chapter in our relations with the country. This will not be the last chapter of the long book that you are writing with us and taking our work forward in the best possible way.

He further said, ‘There is an Indian word which expresses this very well – hard work. It means hard work. I know, this word is used very often in India. It is often used as a popular saying that “hard work is the key to success.” It means that hard work is the key to success and we are used to building our relationships in this way where hard work leads to success.’

Target to take business to 20 billion euros

In a joint press release with Prime Minister Modi, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said, “We definitely want to increase our already strong trade from the current 14 billion Euros to 20 billion Euros by 2029. This is a very ambitious target which can be achieved by taking advantage of the possibilities arising from the Free Trade Agreement signed between the EU and India.

He further said, ‘This goal can also be achieved because our economic and productive ecosystems complement each other. We are also engaged in promoting the Innovate India Initiative, under which a hub will be set up in New Delhi to foster collaboration between our talent, our innovation ecosystem, our startups, enterprises, universities and research institutions.
