US President Donald Trump has once again given a big statement regarding the ongoing tension with Iran and possible military action. This time he has made a big claim about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. After returning from a trip to China, Trump said that Benjamin Netanyahu will work according to his every wish and he is in no hurry to make any agreement with Iran.
Speaking to reporters, Trump was asked what he had said to Netanyahu recently regarding a possible attack on Iran, to which he replied, “He’s fine. He’ll do whatever I want. He’s a very good man and a great leader.” Trump also called Netanyahu a ‘Wartime Prime Minister’. Trump says-
“He is a very nice man, he will do whatever I ask him to do. And he is a wonderful human being… don’t forget that he has been a wartime prime minister,”
Trump said he is open to a limited deal with Iran, which could include opening the Strait of Hormuz and extending the ceasefire. But he insisted, “We will give this opportunity a try. I am in no hurry. The pressure of midterm elections does not affect me.” He further said, “Ideally I want minimal deaths, not too many deaths.”
This statement of Donald Trump has come at a time when tension continues between America and Iran. Trump had recently postponed plans to attack Iran. He had said to wait for 2-3 days or a limited time. Israel is concerned about Iran’s nuclear program, while Trump is giving priority to diplomatic efforts.
