US-Iran Deal: The war that has been going on between America and Iran for almost 4 months is now going to end. US President Donald Trump has officially announced this historic agreement. He claimed that the deal with Iran has been completed.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, ‘The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Greetings to all! I give full approval for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz without any charges and also order the immediate removal of the US naval blockade. Ships around the world start their engines. Let the oil flow!’
Trump wrote in another post on Truth Social, ‘This great deal will bring peace and security to the entire region. Many presidents have tried to make peace with Iran, but all before me failed. For the first time, the leaders of the region have got a President who can help them achieve real peace. The signing of the deal on Friday will mark the resumption of oil supplies from both sides to the region and the world, with the opening of the Strait and the removal of mines. Iran has also ratified this agreement.
What did Iran say on the agreement?
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said on state television that the deal had been done. He clarified that Tehran will move towards a final agreement in the proposed 60-day talks only after it fully verifies Washington’s commitments to end hostilities, lift the blockade and restore Iranian assets.
According to Iranian state television, Kazem Gharibabadi said the official signing ceremony for the agreement will take place on Friday, after which the memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be made public.
Signing will take place in Switzerland on June 19 – Pakistani PM
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wrote in a post on X, ‘After intensive negotiations, we are happy to announce that a peace agreement has been reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both sides have announced an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon. The official signing ceremony will take place on Friday, June 19 in Switzerland.
He further wrote, ‘We want to thank the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to this dispute. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our brothers involved in this mediation effort, namely the great leadership of the State of Qatar, for their cooperation in reaching this agreement. I would also like to especially thank the visionary leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Türkiye for their enormous contribution in this direction. Now that an agreement has been reached, the mediators will hold several meetings this week. “These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for technical negotiations and the official signing ceremony.” Let us tell you that apart from Pakistan, Qatar is another important mediator.
America-Israel attacked Iran
America and Israel started attacking Iran on February 28 this year. In response, Iran targeted Israel and America’s allies in the Gulf. Iran also closed the Strait of Hormuz, which is an important sea route for the supply of oil and gas around the world.
After this, despite the ceasefire between America and Iran in April, there was intermittent firing between America and Iran. This also includes the two attacks and counter-attacks that took place this week.
