Iranian drones attacked Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure on Monday morning, according to multiple social media posts. The attack caused a fire at the site. Reports have described it as a small fire, which was brought under control in time.
Let us tell you that this attack on Aramco oil plant has happened amidst increasing tension in the Middle East. Before this, America and Israel attacked Iran. Then Iran retaliated by launching missile and drone attacks on Gulf countries and Israel.
The capacity of the refinery of Saudi Aramco, the state oil company, is said to be around 5.5 to 6 lakh barrels per day. This is one of the largest offshore oil loading terminals in the world, from where crude oil is transported to many countries including America, Asia, Europe.
