At least 555 people have been killed in Iran since the US-Israeli joint strike began on Saturday. Iranian state media quoted the Red Crescent as saying that 131 cities had been attacked.
Mohammad Beigi, a member of the Iranian parliament, claimed that nine hospitals suffered serious damage. He said several patients were injured in Sunday’s attacks.
American fighter jet crashes in Kuwait
On the other hand, Iran has also continued its counter-attack. Crashes of several American fighter jets were reported this morning. At least one of the crashed US warplanes crashed inside Kuwait.
A video captured near Ali Al-Salem Air Base, on the western edge of Al Jahra in Kuwait, and posted on Telegram, shows a plane falling straight down and spinning around on the ground. Earlier, Kuwait’s Defense Ministry had said that several American warplanes crashed and all crew members survived. The Pentagon has not yet given any response or confirmation on this report.
Will France enter war against Iran?
Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said France is ready to defend the Gulf countries and Jordan against Iran if needed. “France shows its full support and full solidarity to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan, the allies who have been deliberately targeted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ missiles and drones and have been dragged into a war they did not choose,” he said. “It is ready to take part in their defence,” he added.
