Iran Israel War: Israel carried out air strikes on Iran overnight. Israel had targeted two big names inside Iran. Second target: Gholamreza Suleimani
Sulemani was the commander of Basij unit for the last 6 years. Basij is a large paramilitary force of Iran, which works under the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). Under Soleimani’s leadership, the Basij Unit led major repressive campaigns in Iran, including brutal violence, arrests, and the use of force against civilian protesters.
Apart from this, another attack took place in recent days in which Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Akram al-Azouri and some of his associates were targeted. These people were hiding in a safe house in Tehran. Israel’s army chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir said that a major elimination success had been achieved overnight. This may have an impact on terrorist activities related to Gaza and the West Bank.
