US President Donald Trump has once again made a big claim regarding the change of regime in Iran. He has said that we have ended Khamenei’s empire and also removed the second government that came after him. Now in Iran there is a group of people who are very different. What we have done is amazing. Trump has also claimed that as soon as US troops leave Iran, oil prices will fall drastically.
When asked by reporters about the government’s plan to lower oil prices, President Donald Trump said, “I just want to get out of Iran, and we’re going to do that very soon. Prices are going to crash. Stock prices are up today, almost to record highs, because of two reasons. Number one, our country is safe.”
Trump called Ali Khamenei crazy
Regarding Ali Khamenei, Trump said, “We had to change course a little bit because there was a crazy man named Khamenei, who, sadly, is no longer with us. We changed the regime in Iran. We removed one government. Then we removed another government. Now we have a group of people who are very different. They are much more sensible. Less radical than ever before. We have changed the regime. We are dealing with people who are much more rational.”
What did Trump say on Iran’s nuclear weapons?
He added, “What we’ve done is amazing. We had to change course a little bit. Because here’s a crazy guy who wants a nuclear weapon. If we hadn’t come up with the B-2 bomber, we would have a nuclear weapon right now. It would have been used before today. Maybe you wouldn’t be standing there asking that question, right? So I think our country understands that.”
