It has been more than a month since the ongoing US-Israel war with Iran. Today President Donald Trump addressed the nation. This is his first address to the nation after the war started. He has said a big thing regarding the war with Iran.
Addressing the nation, US President Donald Trump said, “As we speak this evening, it has been just over a month since the United States military launched ‘Operation Epic Fury’; the target of this operation was Iran, the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism. Over the past 4 weeks, our forces have won swift, decisive, and overwhelming victories on the battlefield, the likes of which few have ever seen.”
Iran’s army is destroyed – Trump
Trump said in his address, “Tonight, Iran’s navy is destroyed, their air force is destroyed and their leaders, most of them and the terrorist regime they led, are now dead. As we speak, right now, their command and control over the ‘Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ is being completely dismantled. Their ability to launch missiles and drones has been drastically reduced and their weapons factories and rocket launchers have been destroyed. There are very few left in pieces; never before in the history of war has an enemy suffered such massive and devastating losses.”
Trump mentioned Operation Midnight Hammer
Addressing the nation, US President Donald Trump said, “My first priority has always been the path to diplomacy, yet that regime has continued its relentless pursuit of nuclear weapons and rejected every attempt at a compromise. That’s why, in June, I ordered strikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities under ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’. The beautiful B-2 bombers performed brilliantly.”
“We completely destroyed those nuclear sites. Then that regime tried to rebuild its nuclear program in a completely different place, making it clear that they had no intention of giving up their pursuit of nuclear weapons. They were also rapidly building up a huge stockpile of conventional ballistic missiles and would soon have missiles that could reach American soil, Europe, and almost any other place on Earth.”
Iran wanted to become a nuclear power: Trump
Trump further asserted, “Iran’s strategy was very clear. They wanted to build as many missiles as they could, and that’s what they did. They built as many long-range missiles as they could, and they had some weapons that nobody believed they had. We just found out about them. We destroyed them. We destroyed them all so that no one could dare to stop them. And they had a nuclear bomb, a nuclear weapon, a nuclear weapon like never before.” No one had ever seen it, they were on the verge of getting it. For years, everyone has been saying that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, but in the end, if you are not ready to act when the time comes, these are just words.”
