The age of the deceased children was between 8 years to 15 years, when this incident happened, about 30 children were sitting in private tuition, 14 children died due to being buried under the debris, while more than 20 children are said to be injured.

According to Pakistani media, the accident took place on June 30 (Tuesday) in Kahna area of ​​Lahore, when the children were studying in tuition. Giving more details about the accident, Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran has confirmed the death of 14 children. Regarding the accident, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir said that the injured children were immediately admitted to Kahana Hospital, where 14 children died.

Building owner and contractor in custody

According to the police, construction work was going on on the upper floor of the building, while classes were going on on the ground floor. Regarding the accident, Lahore Police said that the rescue operation was completed at 7 pm. After being found guilty in the immediate investigation, two accused have been taken into custody, which includes the owner and the contractor of the building. Let us tell you that the construction work of this house was completed recently.

Rescue team member Farooq Ahmed said that the condition of many trapped children was critical, the children were very small, only 2 rooms were being used for teaching, the children got trapped below as soon as the roof collapsed.
