Quinton de Kock has scored the third century of his IPL career. He completed his century in 53 balls in the match against Punjab Kings. Such an opportunity has come after five years in the Indian Premier League, when De Kock has scored a century as an opener for Mumbai Indians. De Kock rescued MI’s batting from trouble with his century. By the time he completed his century, the veteran South African batsman hit 7 fours and 7 sixes in his innings.
Century came after 5 years
Quinton de Kock returned to Mumbai Indians after five years in IPL 2026. Earlier he played for Mumbai in 2021. A lot has changed in the last five years, as he retired from international cricket, but made a U-turn from retirement just before the T20 World Cup 2026. After returning from retirement, De Kock has looked in great form.
This is the first time that De Kock has scored a century for Mumbai Indians in IPL. Earlier, his highest individual score for Mumbai was 81 runs. With this, De Kock has become the first designated wicketkeeper in the Indian Premier League, who has scored three centuries in the IPL.
