ब्रिज पर कई धमाकों से दहला लेबनान, पहले ड्रोन और फिर मिसाइलों से लगातार हमले… इजरायली सेना ने लितानी नदी के ऊपर ‘आखिरी पुल’ पर बरसाए बम

According to Lebanese state media, on Thursday the Israeli army destroyed the last bridge built on the Litani River. This river divides Lebanon into two parts. Due to this action, thousands of people living in the southern part have lost contact with essential help.

Lebanese media reported that Israeli forces carried out two consecutive airstrikes on the Qasmiyeh Bridge, connecting the coastal city of Sidon to the southern city of Tyre, completely destroying the bridge.

It further said, “Prior to these air strikes, a drone had also carried out two separate strikes near the same bridge.”

This bridge was like a lifeline for the citizens.

Army officials said the attacks were part of a campaign by Hezbollah to disrupt infrastructure used to transport additional troops and military equipment. However, humanitarian organizations have expressed deep concern over the move, saying that the Qasmiyeh bridge was a lifeline for civilians living in conflict-torn southern districts.

Local officials in Tire had already warned that if this last route was also closed, the city’s food and essential supplies could run out within a week. With all seven main bridges over the Litani River now destroyed or badly damaged, the southern sector is completely surrounded by land; Due to which, in the most serious period of increasing tension in this region, rescue operations and efforts to provide life-saving assistance are facing great difficulties.
