A 58-year-old man in California, USA, has been found guilty of eight counts of child molestation and three counts of rape. The court has sentenced him to 225 years in prison.
The name of the person doing this disgusting thing is Sansu B Wang. He was the leader of a religious group (cult). She had formed an organization named “Mother Belief” (Kev Siṅṅg Leej Niam Kee Tiam Vaj Lis Thum). His followers considered him like a prophet, but he used to satisfy his lust by relying on people’s trust.
He himself composed all the songs, prayer materials and teachings of his religious group. Later the followers took the families to Fresno and then to Oroville, California, where they tried to create a separate religious community. The punishment given to Sansu Bi Wang is very severe, but due to his age, there is a possibility of parole after 20 years. Wang was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
How did the cult start?
He first started this group in the city of Appleton, Wisconsin. In 2015 he moved to Fresno, California. In 2020, he brought some families from Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Carolina and Fresno to Oroville. There were plans to build a religious site and religious community near Table Mountain.
Used to threaten children and women
The Sins of Sansu Bi Wang explodes in the year 2024. An 11-year-old girl and her mother told police that Wang had molested them. When the investigation started, four women came forward. A total of six victims, including four little girls and two women, testified in court. According to the victims, he threatened children and women that if they told anyone, the family or community would be harmed.
What happened in the court?
Five victims told the court how badly Wang had affected their lives. Wang herself did not say anything, but her lawyers claimed that the victims were lying or misunderstanding. Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey called the case very serious. The jury found Wang guilty of eight counts of child molestation and three counts of rape. Wang himself did not testify at the trial.
Child sexually abused 5 times
When a girl was 8 to 10 years old, she was sexually abused 5 times by this brute. The girl said Wang threatened to beat her if she told anyone. A woman was raped twice at her home. Wang threatened to harm her and her family if she told.
Three other girls (when they were between 6 and 12 years old) were molested during religious ceremonies. Wang would comment on her body and say he would marry her. A 19-20 year old girl was told by Wang that because he was a prophet, she had to have sex with him. If he did not do so, his family and the entire Hmong community would be adversely affected.
Sentenced to 225 years
On June 9, 2026, the judge announced his verdict and sentenced Wang to 225 years. This is the highest punishment according to the law. But according to California rules, prisoners above 50 years of age get a chance to appear before the parole board after serving 20 years in jail. This means Wang can apply for parole at the age of about 78 years. District Attorney Mike Ramsey said there may be other victims in the case, but they have not come forward out of fear.
