Donald Trump warns Iran: US President Donald Trump’s stance regarding Iran does not seem to be softening. He has said that America will continue its military campaign. Not only this, President Trump also did not rule out the possibility of landing American troops in Iran if needed. He said that if needed, he has no problem in landing American troops on Iranian soil.
During this time, Trump also explained the purpose of America and Israel’s attacks on Iran. He said that our four objectives for this war are completely clear. First, we are destroying Iran’s missile capabilities. You see this happening every hour. Their ability to make new and advanced missiles is also being destroyed.
He said that secondly, we are completely destroying their navy. 10 of their ships have been destroyed. Third, we are ensuring that the world’s No. 1 sponsor of terrorism can never acquire nuclear weapons. Finally, it also seeks to ensure that the Iranian regime cannot continue to arm, fund, and direct terrorist forces outside its borders.
Trump also told that how long can this war continue? He said that we are already well ahead of the scheduled deadline. If needed, our army can take action for a longer period than this. Trump clearly said that no matter how much time it takes, it is okay. We will do as much work as it takes. Earlier we had estimated four to five weeks, but we have the capacity to run the campaign beyond this.
‘This is the last and best chance to attack’
The US President said that for almost 47 years the Iranian regime has been attacking America and killing Americans. I had eliminated General Soleimani in my first term. This is our last and best chance right now to end and attack the intolerable threats posed by this sick and crooked regime.
He also stressed that allowing Iran to possess long-range missiles and nuclear weapons would pose “a catastrophic threat” to both the Middle East and the United States. He said that we thought an agreement had been reached, but then they (Iran) backed out. Then they came back and we thought there was a deal, but they backed out again. You cannot compromise with these people. You have to do it right.
The conflict began when the US and Israel launched airstrikes on several cities in Iran on February 28, targeting military command centers, air defense systems, missile bases and key government infrastructure. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior military and security officials were killed in these attacks. After the attacks, Iran also launched a counterattack. It has attacked US bases and allies across the region, including Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, with missiles and drones, escalating tensions in the Middle East.
