US Iran War: Despite President Donald Trump repeatedly talking about a peace agreement, the tension between America and Iran is not showing signs of reducing. Meanwhile, Trump has made a serious allegation by claiming that Iran has shot down the US Army’s state-of-the-art Apache helicopter patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. He angrily said that Iran will respond to this. Due to this, the fire of war between America and Iran seems to be flaring once again.
America will have to respond to this attack- Trump
“I have just received word from our great military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our state-of-the-art Apache helicopters patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. Two pilots were involved in this incident, both of whom are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must respond to this attack,” Trump wrote in a post on the social media platform Truth Social.
The helicopter crashed near the Oman coast. According to US Central Command (CENTCOM), both aviators were safely evacuated after being in the water for about two hours. The US Navy’s unmanned surface drone boat played an important role in this rescue.
Trump had appealed to Netanyahu to stop the attacks
Earlier, attacks had started again between Israel and Iran. President Donald Trump had appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to respond to Iran’s missile attacks. Trump gave a clear warning that if Israel retaliates, the ongoing peace talks to end the conflict that has been going on for the last three months could be affected.
According to media reports, after Iran fired missiles at Israel on Sunday, Trump spoke to Netanyahu on phone and urged him to exercise restraint. He also appealed to Iran to return to the negotiating table.
This war started on February 28, when Israel and America jointly started attacking Iran. Many senior leaders including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed in these attacks. Ceasefire is currently in force between America and Iran and talks are going on between the two countries regarding an agreement, but till now no result has been achieved. Meanwhile, after Iran’s shooting down of the American Apache helicopter and Trump’s warning of retaliation, the fire of war may flare up again.
