Iran has announced strict restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz. Due to this, the anxiety of US President Donald Trump has reached the seventh sky. He has even said that if Iran does not agree, we will have to drop bombs again.
But, internally it is clear that Iran has given Trump sleepless nights. Iran and its proxies have also started attacking ships entering Hormuz. Let us tell you that the army with which Iran has defeated everyone in Hormuz is called ‘Fleet of Mosquitoes’.
Why is it called a fleet of mosquitoes?
Former Pentagon official Alex Plitsas told American media that it is called a mosquito fleet because because they are small, they harass other ships in the sea and also bite them. Its flock consists of thousands of small high-speed boats, which run at high speed.
These contain many missiles, weapons, rockets and drones. They are so small that they dodge even the radar. They come in thousands and attack together, due to which even big warships accept defeat.
Let us tell you that as soon as the ceasefire ends, boats can create terror in Hormuz and attack the American Navy and its ships, in which America can suffer huge losses.
Recently, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said that it had received a report of firing on a tanker. According to the agency, the shooting was carried out by “two gunboats belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)” 20 nautical miles north-east of Oman.
UKMTO said in its advisory note that the captain of the tanker said that both the gunboats had started firing without any radio warning. The agency further said that the vessel and its crew were reported to be safe.
Additionally, it was also reported yesterday that ships such as Al Ghashamiya carrying LNG and Stee Elysees carrying crude were headed towards Indian ports but are stranded in the Gulf and ship monitoring equipment shows that they are diverting.
