अमेरिकी हमलों से बौखलाया ईरान, हर एक जहाज पर फायर करने की दी धमकी; होर्मुज फिर हुआ पूरी तरह बंद; गैस-तेल की कीमतों में होगा इजाफा?

War like situation has again arisen in West Asia. Conflicts between America and Iran are increasing. After new US attacks on Iran, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s military clearly said that no oil tanker or commercial ship will be allowed to pass through this sea corridor. After this announcement by Iran, once again the gas and oil crisis is going to deepen in many countries including India.

“Due to the insecurity in the area, the Strait of Hormuz is declared closed to all vessels, including oil tankers and commercial vessels, with immediate effect,” the IRGC said in a post on its official Telegram account, according to CNN. “Any ship attempting to pass through the strait will be targeted,” the statement added.

Iran announced closure of Strait of Hormuz

Following this announcement, Iranian state media reported that the IRGC had attacked two ships in the Strait of Hormuz. This ship was trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without Iran’s permission and illegally. In recent days, Iran and the United States have escalated attacks against each other, targeting military and surveillance targets, testing the fragile ceasefire agreement reached in April.

Here the US Army has attacked many targets in Iran. Iran’s military surveillance capabilities, communication systems and air defense sites have been targeted. Iran’s Red Crescent has put all emergency operation centers across the country on full alert. US Central Command said that this action has been taken in response to Iran’s continuous and unprovoked aggression.

With the announcement of closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the oil-gas crisis began to deepen. Shortly after the IRGC announcement, oil prices surged. Brent crude oil, considered the global benchmark, surged nearly 2% to cross the $95 per barrel level during Thursday morning trade in Asia. Let us tell you that due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the supply of oil and gas from Gulf countries to large parts of the world stops. India has also been directly affected by this. In such a situation, if the same situation continues in the coming days, the oil-gas crisis may increase in India.
