Pakistan’s army has once again brutalized the common citizens of Afghanistan. PAK Air Force has entered Afghanistan and carried out an air strike. 13 innocent people have died in this deadly attack. 11 children are also included in the dead.
The Taliban government in Kabul confirmed the attack on Wednesday, saying at least 13 people were killed and 14 others were injured in overnight airstrikes carried out by the Pakistani military inside Afghanistan. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said Pakistan violated Afghanistan’s airspace and targeted civilian homes in Kunar, Khost and Paktika provinces with bombings on the night of Tuesday-Wednesday.
13 Afghan civilians killed in Pakistan airstrike
The Taliban government said that 11 children, a woman and an elderly man lost their lives in this unprovoked action by the Pakistan Army. Taliban spokesperson Mujahid further said that 14 women were injured during the military attack and later shared photos of the casualties in the attacks. Over the past year, Pakistan Army’s continuous military operations inside Afghanistan following escalating cross-border tensions have claimed hundreds of lives.
Tension increased again between the two neighboring countries
Let us tell you that the long-running tension between the two neighboring countries turned into a full-fledged cross-border conflict in October 2025, when Islamabad carried out massive air strikes inside Afghanistan, including the capital Kabul. In a devastating attack in March, the Pakistani military bombed a rehabilitation center in Kabul, killing at least 269 people.
Due to continuously increasing tension on the border, thousands of Afghan citizens have been forced to leave their homes. On the other hand, Pakistan is trying to present itself as a peacemaker in external conflicts elsewhere in West Asia, while PAK Sen has systematically increased violence on its western border.
Over the past year, Pakistan has repeatedly targeted Afghan territory and sought to justify its deadly operations by alleging that the Taliban supports groups such as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistan has often tried to blame others for its internal security failures by making baseless allegations.
