UNSC मीटिंग में डोनाल्ड ट्रंप पर भड़के रूस-चीन, मादुरो को तुरंत रिहा करने को कहा

Russia-China strongly criticized Donald Trump’s action in the emergency UNSC meeting called after the arrest of ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. During this, Russia demanded the immediate release of Maduro.

Let us tell you that the United Nations warned in the meeting that America had broken international law, because the Trump administration had justified capturing him and bringing him to New York.

In a statement, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he was “deeply concerned that the rules of international law were not followed in relation to the January 3 military action.”

Russia’s envoy to the UNSC meeting, Vasily Nebenzia, condemned the US “armed attack” against Venezuela and appealed to Washington to release Maduro and his wife. He said, “There is and cannot be any justification for the crimes committed by the US in Caracas. We strongly condemn the US armed attack against Venezuela in violation of all international legal norms.”

At the same time, China strongly condemned the US arrest of Venezuelan President Maduro, and said that disputes should be resolved peacefully. China’s deputy UN representative Sun Lei said, “We demand that the United States change its course, stop its bullying and coercive practices, and develop relations and cooperation with regional countries on the basis of mutual respect, equality and non-interference in international affairs.”

Let us tell you that according to reports, President Maduro has visited Washington, D.C. Lawyer Barry J. Pollack, who negotiated WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s 2024 plea agreement, securing his release shortly after he pleaded guilty to Espionage Act charges for obtaining and publishing US military secrets.

“Bangladesh believes that diplomacy and dialogue should receive priority in resolving all disputes between countries and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law,” Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on Twitter.

Earlier, the Swiss government said it had decided to freeze “with immediate effect” any assets held in Switzerland by ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro or his associates.
