Happiness changed to mourning in a house in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, when suddenly a cylinder exploded. In this incident, 8 people including the bride and groom died. Quoting Pakistani media, it is being said that a relative of terrorist David Headley is also among those killed.
At least eight people, including a bride and groom, were killed when a gas cylinder exploded in a house after a wedding reception in Islamabad on Sunday. According to Islamabad Police, the blast occurred while the guests gathered to celebrate the bride and groom were sleeping in the house. The explosion was so powerful that a part of the house collapsed.

The incident took place in G-7/2 sector of the capital Islamabad. Police said the blast occurred in a residential area in the center of the city. Some nearby houses have also been damaged due to the gas cylinder explosion. Parts of the walls were blown away, leaving piles of bricks, large concrete slabs and furniture scattered on the floor. The injured people were trapped under the debris and were taken out on stretchers by rescue workers. There was a wedding in the house where the blast took place, hence there was a huge crowd of people.
Emergency workers said that the explosion was caused by a gas leak, due to which the room filled with gas and then exploded. Neighboring houses have also been damaged. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner General Sahibzada Yusuf, the blast occurred when there were guests in the house. He said that four neighboring houses were also badly damaged by the blast and all the people trapped under the debris have been rescued.
The groom was a relative of David Headley
The rescue team pulled out 19 people from the debris. In which 8 died, while 11 people were injured and admitted to the hospital. Officials confirmed that the dead included the bride and groom, their mother, uncle, aunt and cousins, as well as two neighbours, Waseem and Naeem. It is being told that the groom was a relative of David Headley. David Colmel Headley is a terrorist and it was he who conspired to attack Mumbai.
