In his second term as US President, it seems as if Donald Trump is trying to fulfill all his dreams. As soon as he took oath as President, he mentioned Greenland, Panama and Mexico. In such a situation, it is believed that after Venezuela, these areas could be Trump’s next target.

Along with this, Trump has also accused the President of Colombia of manufacturing cocaine and reiterated his previous threats that he should worry about his life. Not only that, he predicted that “we will also talk about Cuba”.

Is Trump now eyeing Greenland?

Shortly after the US strikes on Venezuela late Saturday night and the capture of Nicolás Maduro from his compound, Katie Miller, wife of Trump’s deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, posted a photo on X that immediately caught people’s attention.

The photo showed Greenland painted in the colors of the American flag. He captioned the picture, “SOON”.

Foreign Minister’s statement regarding Cuba

Earlier, in an interview with American media, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio hinted about Trump’s next target. When asked if the Trump administration’s next target was the Cuban government, he said the Cuban government was “a huge problem.”

Asked to clarify whether his comments meant ‘yes,’ Rubio said, “I think they’re in a lot of trouble, so ‘yes.'” He added, “I’m not going to talk to you right now about what our future steps will be and what our policies will be in that regard.” But I don’t think it’s any secret that we’re not big fans of the Cuban regime.”

Additionally, at a press conference on Saturday, Trump compared Venezuela to Cuba, saying, “Venezuela is like Cuba in the sense that we want to help the Cuban people, but we also want to help people who were kicked out of Cuba and are living in this country.”

Trump’s statement regarding Colombia

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One on Sunday, Trump also threatened military action against the government of Colombia, and told reporters that such an operation sounds good to him.

“Colombia is also very sick, run by a sick man who loves making cocaine and selling it to the United States, and he won’t be able to do that much longer,” he said.

What did Trump say on Mexico?

While talking to the American media, the US President also gave a statement on Mexico. “Something has to be done with Mexico,” he said, referring to Venezuela’s ousted president.

Let us tell you that from the action taken in Venezuela and the arrest of Nicolas Maduro, it is clear that Trump wants to show his power wherever necessary. The question is how far the US President will go to prove it.
