BCCI gives salary equal to Rohit-Kohli to only these 2 cricketers, they get so many crores

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is soon going to make changes in the central contract system, from which Grade A+ can be removed. According to the current system, BCCI has divided the players into four categories, which are named Grade A+, Grade A, Grade B and Grade C. If we look at the current system, there are only 4 players to whom BCCI gives the highest salary annually.

According to a media report, the selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar has suggested changes in the contract system. If such a change comes, then Indian cricketers will be divided into only A, B, C grades. There is also news of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli being kept in Grade B. Well, before such a rule comes, know here about those 4 cricketers to whom BCCI pays the highest salary as per the current system.

Only 2 players, salary equal to Rohit-Kohli

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli currently come under Grade A+ in the central contract list. BCCI gives a salary of Rs 7 crore annually to the players falling in this category. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja are the only two players who get the same salary as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Jadeja and Bumrah also come under Grade A+, hence they get Rs 7 crore in a year.

How much money do Gill-Surya-Pandya get?

If we talk about Shubman Gill, the captain of India’s Test and ODI team, he currently comes under Grade A. Players coming in this grade get Rs 5 crore per year. All-rounder Hardik Pandya also comes in this grade, hence he also gets a salary of Rs 5 crore annually. But Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav is in Grade B, hence BCCI provides him an amount of Rs 3 crore annually.
