Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will discuss with US President Donald Trump all the issues currently on the agenda, including the situation in Iran.
Along with this, he also discussed the situation in the West Bank. He also hinted at a major operation in the West Bank.
Speaking at the beginning of the weekly Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said he spoke last night to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who promised that the US would take action against the International Criminal Court, “which threatens justice around the world and also threatens the right of democratic, sovereign countries to exercise their sovereignty.”
Netanyahu says the court that issued arrest warrants against him and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant is “trying to subordinate the security of democratic countries to the decisions of corrupt bureaucrats sitting in The Hague.”
He said that disgraced ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan had issued these warrants “in order to divert attention, to rally all enemies of Israel to his side, and in effect to create a protective shield for himself. That shield has now been removed, exposing his true motives, including the lack of justice and deep corruption not only in the Prosecutor’s Office, but in the entire International Criminal Court.”
Referring to IDF operations in the West Bank following Friday’s deadly clashes, Netanyahu said, “The instructions we gave were to enter villages, search them, seize weapons and make arrests.”
He further said that Israel is ready to take large-scale action against terrorist targets.
