दुनिया की बढ़ती टेंशन के बीच ट्रंप के बयान से जगी नई उम्मीद, कहा- सीजफायर खत्म हो गया लेकिन ईरान शांति वार्ता जारी रखने को तैयार है

US President Donald Trump has clearly said that America will continue talks with Iran, but the ceasefire is now over. Trump wrote on his social media account Truth Social, “Iran has asked us to continue talks. We have agreed to this, but America has clearly told them that the ceasefire is now over!”

This statement comes at a time when a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the US and Iran last month. Under this agreement, it was agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz without any toll for 60 days. However, Iran claims that it will retain its management rights over Hormuz.

The White House indicated on July 9 that they were prepared to abide by the deal if Iran followed the conditions. Earlier, some progress was also being made on the nuclear issue between the two countries.

Efforts of mediator countries continue

Qatar, Pakistan and other countries are actively trying to save this agreement. On July 10, a Qatar delegation is visiting Iran, which is being coordinated with the US.

Iran’s threat

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohammad Bagher Zolghadra warned on state television against targeting Israel. He said that any attack on infrastructure will be responded to and there will be a response from our fighters.

Israeli officials are divided on the issue. Some officials are in favor of starting attacks on Iran again and are waiting for Trump’s green signal. Israel is not part of the deal and has criticized it for lacking concrete concessions on Iran’s nuclear program.

cause of stress

Recent tensions have escalated following attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which the US has linked to Iran. This is threatening the global oil supply. The Council of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) passed a non-binding resolution on July 10 condemning Iran’s creation of the Persian Gulf Strait Authority. The proposal emphasizes on the safety and movement of shipping lanes.

Impact on Bushehr nuclear plant

Russian nuclear company Rosatom has temporarily halted the return of its employees to Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant. The cause was said to be a projectile falling on the perimeter of the plant on 9 July.
