President Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire agreement with Iran is ‘dead’. Speaking to NATO chief Mark Rutte ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara, President Trump responded to questions about Iran by saying, “I think it’s over. Every time they attack, they get a response.”
On the status of ceasefire with Iran, US President Donald Trump said, “I think it’s over. I don’t want to deal with them anymore. They are bad people. They are led by sick people. I will talk to my negotiators. They want to negotiate, they are good people, but they have to come back to me. As far as I am concerned, dealing with them is just a waste of time.”

The US President has called further diplomatic talks with Iran a “waste of time”. Trump made the comments when a journalist questioned whether the ceasefire with Iran had broken down and whether the 14-point memorandum of understanding had effectively become void. Speaking at the NATO summit in Türkiye, Trump also said he was “not happy with NATO on the issue of Greenland and Iran.”

Let us tell you that the American Army has targeted many military bases located in southern Iran. Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas and Serik were shaken by the US airstrike. These attacks took place amid the funeral rituals of Iran’s former supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. On these attacks, Trump said, “We attacked Iran very strongly last night. We said, ‘Go and perform the last rites of your leader.’ But instead, they started firing rockets at ships in Hormuz. So we attacked them very strongly last night.”
Here, after the attack on ships in Hormuz, there has been a huge jump in the prices of crude oil and there has been panic in the stock markets around the world. On Tuesday, Brent crude oil, which was seen trading in the range of 71-72 dollars per barrel, suddenly rose by more than 3 percent and reached beyond 76 dollars.
