A series of earthquakes in Venezuela have rocked the country, destroying many homes and leaving many people grieving the loss of their loved ones. The troubled families also include footballer Hector Bello and his 1-year-old daughter. Bello’s brave wife Andrea lost her life trying to save their little girl after their building collapsed.
Bello, who is a defender for second division team ‘Marítimo de la Guerra’, is grieving the loss of his beloved wife; His wife’s body has been taken out from the debris. However, Andrea’s sacrifice paid off as their baby girl, Alana, miraculously survived as her brave mother shielded her in her lap.
The miraculous baby girl was found under the debris during a search and rescue operation. He is now in a hospital in Caracas and is doing well.
Footballer wrote an emotional post
The footballer poured out his heart on Instagram and wrote an emotional and very personal tribute to his late wife.
“How do I explain to your daughter that you gave your life to save hers, and I was not there to do anything? How do I explain this? Now give me courage.”
In another heart-wrenching post, he wrote, “You will always be our favorite hero, mommy. I will make sure our baby remembers how amazing you were, how much you loved her. I will tell her the story of how you saved her, how you gave your life for our daughter, how you were a brave woman who never left her until your last breath, mommy.”
‘I can’t forgive you’
The footballer further said that he cannot forgive his wife for leaving him alone.
“But there’s one thing I can’t forgive you for… You shattered my soul. You left me alone.” He added, “We always said this fight is ours, Mommy. Do you remember when you sent me a picture and I said, ‘That little girl is so beautiful,’ and you said, ‘Me too, right?’ And you were laughing. I said, ‘Yes, you are also beautiful, but not as beautiful as me,’ hahaha.” Ending his heartbreaking note, Hector Bello promised to always remember his wife and said, “I will always remember you. Mommy, always remember that I always told you that you will always be mine?”
He also remembered her laughter and blushing face and said, “You used to laugh in love and your cheeks would turn red.” “Oh Andrea… I can’t stand it, my love, not really.”
Let us tell you that on Wednesday, earthquakes of 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude occurred in northern Venezuela at an interval of a few seconds. Nearly 1,000 people died in these earthquakes, while many were injured and many are missing. An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude hit the country again on Friday.
