Iran announces closure of Hormuz Strait
This statement of the US President has come at a time when Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters has announced that the Strait of Hormuz is being ‘closed’ to ships.
On Saturday, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced the official closure of the Strait of Hormuz to all maritime traffic after Israel violated the MoU, refused to withdraw from southern Lebanon and continued attacks on the country.
America refutes Iran’s claims
On the other hand, America had denied the claims of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters. US Vice President JD Vance told Fox News that Hormuz is completely open. He says that we have not found any evidence that the Iranians have still kept the Strait of Hormuz closed.
20 percent crude oil supply from Hormuz Strait
Know that the Strait of Hormuz is counted among one of the busiest oil transportation routes in the world. About 20 percent of the world’s crude oil and LNG supply passes through this route.
