US Attacks Iran: The fire of war has once again flared up between America and Iran. America has launched a strong attack on Iran by accusing it of shooting down its Apache combat helicopter.
Donald Trump had claimed a day earlier that Iran had shot down an Apache fighter helicopter of the US Army near the Strait of Hormuz. America will not remain silent on this attack and will take ‘revenge’. Know that it was an AH-64 Apache helicopter, both of whose pilots were rescued safely.
America’s rapid round attack on Iran
Axios journalist Barak Ravid quoted American officials as saying that America has launched three rapid round attacks on Iran. Apart from this, Al Jazeera’s report quoted US defense officials as saying that the US has targeted several air defense and radar systems of Iran near the Strait of Hormuz.
Attacks on Trump’s instructions
CENTCOM said in its statement that on the instructions of President Donald Trump, US forces carried out military strikes in self-defense against Iran. The US completed retaliatory strikes in response to Iran’s attack on Apaches. This action was taken in response to the downing of the US Army’s Apache helicopter yesterday.
The statement further said that CENTCOM forces attacked Iranian air defenses, ground control stations and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz using precision munitions from US Air Force and Navy fighter aircraft. The operation was an appropriate response to recent attacks on US forces and international commercial ships passing through the waters of the area. US forces are alert and ready to defend against Iran’s unjustified aggression.
Iran also retaliated
On the other hand, Iran has also retaliated in response to the American attack. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it launched missiles and drones at US bases in the region. According to Iranian media reports, multiple explosions were heard in Iran’s southern coastal cities of Sirik, Bandar Abbas and Qeshm. All these areas are very close to the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC said in its statement that the warmongering US regime targeted Jask, Serik and Qeshm without any solid basis, with a telecom tower in Serik being damaged and two reservoirs destroyed. The IRGC responded to this enemy action by launching a drone attack on the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain. Iran’s armed forces will continue to respond to every aggressive action of the enemy. If these activities continue, an even stronger response will be given.
The war is not stopping even after three months
Israel and America jointly launched massive attacks on Iran on 28 February 2026. Many senior leaders including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed in these attacks. Currently, ceasefire is in force between America and Iran and talks are going on regarding the agreement between the two countries, but till now no result has been achieved. After Iran shot down the American Apache helicopter amid the ceasefire and Trump responded, the fire of war seems to be flaring once again.
