Pakistan: पेशावर में चौकी पर कब्जा करने की कोशिश, आतंकी हमले में 6 जवानों की मौत, 3 जवानों को बनाया बंधक

Pakistan, which nurtured terrorists at home, is now itself troubled by terrorist attacks. A major incident took place in Hassan Khel area of Peshawar city on Monday. The terrorists tried to capture a post of the Frontier Constabulary (FCN). While retaliating in this attack, 6 soldiers were killed and 4 soldiers were injured.

Dawn newspaper quoted sources as saying that the terrorists attacked the post and three soldiers were captured. But the security forces immediately retaliated. In this action, 8 terrorists were killed and the entire attempt to capture the post failed.

Security forces have surrounded the entire area. Search and action against terrorists is going on. This incident happened at a time when terrorist activities are increasing again in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Security forces are continuously countering such attacks.

Rapid deterioration in security situation

Last month, the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) said in an assessment that after two consecutive months of improvement, Pakistan’s security situation has deteriorated sharply in May 2026, mainly due to increasing terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

There were six suicide attacks in Pakistan last month, including four suicide bombings. In these attacks alone, 34 security personnel and 9 civilians were martyred. On May 9, a suicide attack in Bannu killed 15 policemen, following which Pakistan issued a strong protest to Afghanistan.

Earlier this month, security forces killed four terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of 13 militants were killed in a two-day operation in the Darra Adamkhel area bordering Kohat and Peshawar districts in late May.
