The bodies of Keith Canero (50), his wife Jennifer Canero (45), 11-year-old son Jesse and 8-year-old daughter Sophia were found. In February 2019, Paul was indicted on 16 serious charges. In February 2026, a jury convicted him of all four murders, arson and other crimes. Sentencing is scheduled for May 19, 2026, in Monmouth County Superior Court. Paul Canero will now spend the rest of his life in prison.
