Bangladesh: Voting has been completed in West Bengal. Now everyone’s eyes are on the results to be declared on May 4. Where most of the exit polls are indicating a major change in power in Bengal this time. According to the data of many exit polls, ‘Lotus’ is going to bloom for the first time in West Bengal, while Mamata ‘Didi’ is leaving power after 15 years.
Exit polls have put Trinamool Congress (TMC) in tension. At the same time, this has created panic in Bangladesh also. This issue has been raised in the Parliament of Bangladesh before the counting of votes in Bengal elections.
BJP leader Nishikant Dubey has shared a video on X account. In this, National Citizen Party (NCP) MP Akhtar Hussain from Rangpur, Bangladesh is seen speaking on Bengal elections in the Parliament. He says that with the formation of BJP government in West Bengal, Dhaka may have to face refugee crisis. We are concerned about this.
Sharing his video, Nishikant Dubey said, “Bangladesh MP Akhtar Hussain said in the Parliament of Bangladesh today that BJP’s victory in West Bengal will stop infiltration and drive away Bangladeshi Muslims, this is dangerous. Trinamool Congress’s helpers are slowly coming forward.”
BJP promised to drive out infiltrators
During the Bengal elections, BJP has repeatedly raised the issue of infiltrators. PM Modi himself had promised the public during the rally that as soon as the BJP government is formed, a special investigation will be conducted against the helpers of the infiltrators. No matter how powerful the helper is, he will be recognized. The infiltrators will be driven away and their masters will be sent to jail.
What do the exit polls say?
Elections have been held in two phases for 294 assembly seats of West Bengal. Voting for the first phase took place on 23 April, and for the second on 29 April. Counting of votes is to take place on May 4. Earlier, the exit poll estimates have surprised everyone. This time the contest between TMC and BJP is close, but the balance seems to be slightly different.
Surveys like Matriz, P-Marq and Today Chanakya are giving 145 to 175 seats to BJP. If these prove to be true, then BJP can cross the majority mark (148 seats) and form the government in Bengal. At the same time, some polls like ‘People’s Pulse’ say that Mamata Banerjee can make a comeback with 177-187 seats. If the exit poll predictions prove to be correct then it will prove to be a big blow for Mamata Banerjee and TMC. However, the complete picture will become clear only on May 4.
