US President Donald Trump called an important meeting in the Situation Room of the White House on Saturday morning, in which the Hormuz crisis and a possible agreement were discussed. The meeting was attended by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, as well as the CIA Director and the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Let us tell you that Trump recently claimed that an agreement is possible soon, but Iran increased the tension by closing Hormuz again. Pakistani army chief Asim Munir mediated in Tehran, and Trump spoke with him over the phone. At the same time, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council is considering new American proposals.

Trump’s tough stance

Trump clearly said that Iran cannot blackmail, otherwise the situation will worsen. He warned that US forces would remain in the Hormuz area until a full agreement.
On another front in the Middle East, Israel has declared a new military border called ‘Yellow Line’ in southern Lebanon. The army attacked Hezbollah positions, tunnels and ceasefire violators. Despite the recent 10-day ceasefire, firing on the ground continues.

Big warning from UAE, not just ceasefire, it is necessary to eliminate the entire threat of Iran

Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajri, Minister of State in the UAE Foreign Ministry, has clearly said that the ceasefire between America and Iran after the 39-day war is not enough. He said that for a permanent solution, action is also necessary against Iran’s nuclear program, missiles, drones and its associated networks.

Al Hajri said that the Strait of Hormuz is still not fully open and Iran is taking permits and tolls from ships. This is directly impacting India also, because India is dependent on this route for its oil, LPG and fertilizer needs. Calling it economic pressure, he has demanded immediate action from the international community.
