US President Donald Trump has thanked Iran by posting a post on ‘Truth Social’. He thanked this when Iran announced that during the ceasefire, the ‘Strait of Hormuz’ is completely open for the movement of commercial ships through a fixed route.
Trump said in his post, “Iran has just announced that the ‘Strait of Iran’ is fully open and ready for full passage of ships. Thank you!”
Trump had made the reopening of this important trade route a condition of the ceasefire. However, later when Tehran did not open the strait and a peace agreement could not be reached between the two sides, Trump imposed a blockade on Iran’s ports.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday that the Strait of Hormuz is open to all commercial vessels for the remaining period of the ceasefire, adding that this is in line with the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump had said that a deal was going to be made with Iran. On Thursday he claimed, “We will get victory. Very soon.” He did not provide any details about the promise, but then again, details are not often part of Trump’s way of working, as they can take too long to agree upon. The talks on Iran perhaps prove this more than any other issue.
