US President Donald Trump has rejected the report which claimed that America is negotiating a deal with Iran. Under this deal, Iran will hand over its stockpile of highly-enriched uranium to the US, in exchange for which Iran’s frozen assets worth $20 billion will be released.
Trump wrote on ‘Truth Social’, “America will get all the nuclear ‘dust’ produced by our glorious B2 bombers. There will be no money exchanged in any way, shape or form in this deal.”
‘America bans Israel from attacking’
Trump also tried to counter Iran’s efforts to link the ceasefire in Lebanon earlier this week to the deal announced with Iran last week.
Trump further said, “This agreement is in no way related to Lebanon; but the USA will work separately with Lebanon and deal with the situation related to Hezbollah appropriately. Israel will no longer bomb Lebanon because the US has banned Israel from attacking. Enough is Enough!”
‘The blockade from Hormuz will not be lifted’
Despite Iran announcing the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the US blockade remains in full force, Trump said in a post on ‘Truth Social’.
“The naval blockade will remain in full force and effect with respect to Iran, and will continue until our transactions with Iran are 100% completed,” he said.
Trump said negotiations for a peace deal “should move very quickly, because most of the issues have already been negotiated.”
