US-Israel-Iran War: The war between America, Israel and Iran may have stopped now, but the situation may change soon. Tension is increasing again between America and Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz. After the failure of talks in Islamabad, Trump has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the ongoing ceasefire in Iran and America is in a very critical situation and can break at any time.
Netanyahu said after the cabinet meeting on Monday (April 13) that the ceasefire between Iran and America could change at any moment. He told that Vice President JD Vance informed him about this while returning from talks with Iran in Pakistan.
‘America could not tolerate the violation of the agreement’
The Israeli Prime Minister said that the US side could not tolerate Iran’s flagrant violation of the agreement to start talks. The agreement was that they would stop firing, and Iran would immediately open the Strait of Hormuz, but they did not do so. The American side could not accept this.
According to Netanyahu, Vance told him that the most important issue for the United States is to remove all enriched material from Iran and to prevent any uranium enrichment inside Iran for years, perhaps decades, to come. This is their main focus, and it is very important for us too. Netanyahu also said that Israel fully supports Trump’s decision to impose a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
America started preparations for blockade
Earlier, the US Central Command has officially announced that the blockade will be implemented on all maritime traffic to and from Iranian ports from 10 am Eastern Time (ET) on April 13, 2026. This step is being taken in compliance with the presidential order of US President Donald Trump.
CENTCOM clarified that the blockade would apply equally to ships of all nations. This includes all commercial and shipping traffic entering or exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas. These ports are located in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman.
However, CENTCOM has also clarified that there will be no restrictions on the free navigation of ships to non-Iranian ports passing through the Strait of Hormuz, i.e. normal traffic will continue on the international waterway.
What did Iran say on Trump’s threat?
Iran has also responded to Trump’s threat to block Hormuz. A spokesman for Iran’s armed forces said that if our ports were in danger, no port in the Gulf would be safe. He described the US interdiction of ships in Hormuz as illegal and said it was “tantamount to piracy”. Iran will implement a “permanent mechanism” to control the waterway.
