US-Israel-Iran War: The peace talks between America and Iran in Islamabad, Pakistan remained inconclusive. After this, tension regarding the Strait of Hormuz has started increasing again. On Trump’s orders, the American leader has started a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz. Amidst the deteriorating environment again, a big offer has been given to America by Russia. Putin has said that if needed under the peace agreement, he is ready to keep Iran’s enriched uranium with himself.
Iran’s handing over enriched uranium is one of America’s main conditions for ending the war. In fact, America wants to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear program and not have enriched uranium.
Russia ready to keep Iran’s enriched uranium
In such a situation, Russia has now made a big offer regarding Iran’s enriched uranium. The Russian Presidential Palace Kremlin said on Monday (April 13) that if there is any future peace agreement between America and Iran, then Russia is ready to keep Iran’s enriched uranium under it.
Russia has already made this offer to America. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the proposal, made by the president in talks with both the US and regional countries, still stands. No one has taken any action on this proposal yet.
During this, he also criticized US President Donald Trump’s decision to blockade Hormuz. Peskov said such steps would continue to have a negative impact on international markets.
Offered earlier also, Trump rejected it
In March, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a phone conversation with Trump, had offered him that Russia was ready to keep Iran’s enriched uranium as part of the agreement to end the war. However, the US President rejected this proposal.
Iran has about 450 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent. It can be enhanced to weaponizable levels (90 percent or more) within a few weeks. More than 10 nuclear bombs can be prepared from this quantity.
