According to the TV, these limits relate to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the release of Iran’s blocked assets, payment of war reparations and the implementation of a ceasefire throughout the region, which also includes Lebanon.
Let us tell you that Tehran’s agenda includes recognition of its rights over the Strait of Hormuz, where its aim is to collect transit fees and control access. The strait serves as a ‘chokepoint’ for approximately 20% of global oil and liquefied natural gas shipments.
Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met US Vice President JD Vance in Islamabad today. The Prime Minister’s Office said that peace talks to end the ongoing war in the Middle East “have begun.”
“As the Islamabad talks began today, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with US Vice President JD Vance,” the statement said.
‘There will be no deal with America if…’
Meanwhile, Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Raza Arif says that if America talks with representatives of “Israel First” during talks in Pakistan, there will be no agreement with it.
Mohammad Raza Arif said, “If we negotiate with ‘America First’ representatives in Islamabad, there is a possibility of an agreement beneficial to both sides and the world. But, if we are faced with ‘Israel First’ representatives, there will be no agreement; we will certainly continue our defense more vigorously than before, and the world will have to pay a heavy price for it.”
