Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly reprimanded Pakistan and advised it to stay within its limits. Netanyahu made it clear that not a single statement against Israel will be tolerated. This response of Israel has come on the statement of Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, in which he had called Israel a curse for humanity.
Israel showed Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif his place. Expressing strong objection to Asif’s statement, PM Netanyahu has also raised questions on Pakistan’s impartiality as a mediator in US-Iran talks. In a statement, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office rebuked Khawaja Asif, saying ‘his calls for the destruction of Israel are extremely objectionable.’
Netanyahu rebuked Pakistan
Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office said, ‘Pakistan’s Defense Minister’s call to destroy Israel is extremely objectionable. This is not a statement that can be tolerated from any government, especially not one that claims to be an impartial mediator of peace. This statement of Pakistan’s Defense Minister has created a big problem.
Objection to which statement of Khwaja Asif
Let us tell you that in a post on X, Khawaja Asif had described Israel as “evil and a curse for humanity”. He accused Israel of carrying out genocide in Lebanon while peace talks were going on in Islamabad. He is killing innocent civilians, first in Gaza, then in Iran and now in Lebanon. The bloodshed continues without any stop. Khawaja further said, “I hope and I pray that those who created this ‘cancer-like’ country on Palestinian land to get rid of the European Jews burn in hell.”
Pakistan is getting beaten badly all over the world
This statement of the Defense Minister of PAK has put the already fragile ceasefire in even more danger, while the talks in Islamabad have not even started yet. This has further increased Pakistan’s embarrassment, because it had already failed to clearly define the terms of the two-week ceasefire. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had claimed that Lebanon is also a part of this peace agreement, but both America and Israel rejected this claim outright.
